Ellen Alemany
Head of RBS Americas and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Financial Group, Inc.

Ellen Alemany is Head of RBS Americas and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Financial Group, Inc. She also is a member of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group’s Executive Committee, which is the RBS Group’s nine-member executive leadership team.

RBS Americas includes Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (operating as Citizens Bank, Charter One, RBS Card Services and RBS Asset Finance); RBS Global Banking & Markets Americas; Global Transaction Services Americas (including RBS’s Cash Management, Commercial Cards, Payment Services and Trade Services); and RBS Citizens Business Services (the company’s operations, technology and properties division). Alemany’s positions make her the only woman responsible for one of the top 13 commercial banking companies in the United States.

In September 2010, Alemany was listed 13th on U.S. Banker’s list of The 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking. In August 2009, Forbes magazine ranked Alemany 57th on its annual list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.

She joined RBS Americas in June 2007 from Citigroup, where she had been CEO for Global Transaction Services (GTS), one of Citi’s 12 publicly reported product lines. Citi’s GTS offers cash management, trade services and finance, and securities and fund services capabilities to corporations, governments and financial institutions in 100 countries.

Alemany joined Citibank in 1987 and held various positions including Executive Vice President for the Commercial Business Group, which includes CitiCapital, the Commercial Markets Group and the Commercial Real Estate Group. CitiCapital, where she also served as President and CEO, was the second-largest bank-owned leasing company in North America.

Alemany also held a number of positions in Citigroup’s Global Corporate Bank including Customer Group Executive of North American Markets, Global Industry Head of Media and Communications, and U.S. Industry Head of Consumer Products before being appointed Executive Vice President of Citibank and the Customer Group Executive for the Global Relationship Bank in Europe in 1999. Additional roles at Citigroup included Chairman and CEO for Citibank International plc, Citibank’s European Bank; Country Corporate Officer for the United Kingdom; and member of the Board of Citibank, N.A.

Alemany earned her M.B.A. with a specialization in finance from Fordham University in 1980. She is chairman of the boards of directors of Citizens Financial Group, Inc. and RBS Citizens, N.A., and a member of the boards of directors of The Financial Services Roundtable and The Clearing House Payments Company, a world leader in the payments business that provides payment services for check, electronic check, ACH and wire transfers. From 2008 through 2010, she was the First District Representative on the Federal Advisory Council, directly consulting with and advising the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

An active member of the community, Alemany serves on the board of the Center for Discovery. She is also a member of the board of trustees of the National Constitution Center and a member of the Providence College Business Advisory Council. Alemany and her husband, Jack, have three children.

Suneel Kamlani
President, Global Banking and Markets
Chairman of GBM Americas
Deputy Head of RBS Americas

In his capacity as President of GBM, Kamlani has global responsibility for GBM's logistics and control functions, including Finance, Risk, Legal, Operations, Technology, Human Resources, and Communications and Marketing. With a seat on the GBM Executive Committee and the RBS Group Management Committee, he plays an integral role in setting business strategy and ensuring that the infrastructure and control environment support that strategy.

Kamlani has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking, most recently as Chief Operating Officer for UBS's Global Investment Bank and as a member of the UBS Group Managing Board. He has served as a member of the SIFMA Europe Board, the Bank of England's Fixed Income Committee and the IIF's Working Group on Crisis Resolution.

Kamlani earned a B.A. in economics and finance from Northwestern University.

David Bowerman
Vice Chairman, RBS Citizens Business Services

David Bowerman is Vice Chairman in charge of RBS Citizens Business Services with responsibility across RBS's North and South American entities. RBS Citizens Business Services is RBS's "engine room," supplying systems and support in areas including operations, technology, property and purchasing. Previously, Bowerman was Managing Director, U.K. & European Operations with overall responsibility for eight Business Services operations across multiple geographic locations, and 21,000 staff who support RBS's income-generating divisions. Bowerman originally joined the NatWest Bank in 1982 and has since undertaken a range of Retail and Corporate roles, all of which have enabled him to gain extensive experience and build a wide portfolio of successes in driving and implementing significant cultural change and organizational strategies.

Brad L. Conner
Vice Chairman, Consumer Banking, Citizens Financial Group, Inc.

As Vice Chairman of the Consumer Banking Division at Citizens Financial Group, Conner is responsible for Retail Banking, Business Banking, Wealth Management, Home Lending, Auto Finance and Education Finance as well as the Consumer Phone Bank and online channels.

With over 25 years of management experience in financial services, Conner has an impressive track record of success in leading consumer finance businesses, including mortgage, home equity and student finance.

Conner is a member of CFG’s Executive Committee, the company’s most senior leadership team and a member of the RBS Americas Management Committee.

Before joining CFG in June 2008, Brad was President of JP Morgan Chase & Co.’s Home Equity and Mortgage Home Loan Direct business, headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz. He previously oversaw the combined home equity business of Chase and Bank One after the companies merged in 2004, and served as CEO of Chase’s Education Finance businesses. In his 12 years at Bank One/ Chase, Conner played a key leadership role in the growth and evolution of the company’s mortgage and home equity businesses. Under his guidance, its home equity business grew to become an industry leader with more than $90 billion in assets.

Conner serves as a Director for RIPEC (Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council) and is Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for DTFA (Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption) and serves on the Audit Committee and the Committee for Institutional Advancement. He is also a member of the CBA (Consumer Bankers Association) Board.

Conner, a native of St. Louis, has a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas. He resides in East Greenwich, RI with his wife Vicki, and daughter, Hope. He also has two sons, Eric and Doug. When not at work, Conner enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, golfing and boating. Conner is based in Providence, R.I.

John Fawcett
Chief Financial Officer

John Fawcett is responsible for creating the financial framework and functional organization to support the development and expansion of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group’s businesses in North America and Latin America. Fawcett’s functional responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, accounting policy, tax, treasury and the establishment of a capital resource allocation model. He also has administrative oversight role for internal audit activities in RBS Americas. He works with senior colleagues to provide financial leadership in determining strategic business direction as well as financial strategies and synergies for the entire RBS Americas footprint. Fawcett joined RBS Americas from Citigroup, where he most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for the Global Transaction Services business. Fawcett has a B.S. in accounting and an M.B.A. in finance from St. John’s University. He also is a CPA.

Sheldon Goldfarb
General Counsel

Sheldon Goldfarb is the chief legal advisor for RBS businesses in the Americas. He provides strategic leadership to the management of legal risk and oversees an integrated legal function of 70+ lawyers for RBS in North and South America. Prior to joining RBS Americas, Goldfarb was General Counsel and Secretary of RBS Greenwich Capital, a position he held since 1994. He was responsible for RBSGC’s Legal, Compliance, Government Relations and Corporate Communications functions. He is chairman of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s (SIFMA), General Counsel’s Committee; past president of the SEC Alumni Association; served on the Executive Committee, and as treasurer, of the SIFMA Compliance and Legal Division; and was a member of the board of trustees of the SEC Historical Society. He is also a member of the investment committee of the Binghamton University Foundation. Goldfarb is a frequent speaker at industry-wide conferences on compliance and legal issues. Goldfarb earned his B.A. from Binghamton University and a J.D. cum Laude from Syracuse University College of Law.

Susan LaMonica
Director of Human Resources, RBS Americas and Citizens Financial Group, Inc.

Susan LaMonica is Human Resources director for RBS Americas and Citizens Financial Group. She and her team provide HR support to RBS's businesses in the U.S., including the Retail and Commercial Division, Global Transaction Services, Business Services, GBM and Group Central Functions.

LaMonica brings to RBS and Citizens more than 20 years of human resources and banking experience at JP Morgan Chase. As managing director and HR executive of the Investment Banking and Global Markets Division of JP Morgan, she led a team of 200 that served 22,000 employees globally. Prior to that, as Retail and Commercial Banking HR executive at Chase Manhattan LaMonica supported 45,000 employees across the U.S. with a team of 500. As head of Development globally, she had responsibility for talent and performance management, leadership development, training, diversity and work life, and organizational change. Prior to joining human resources, LaMonica held a variety of assignments in the business, including roles in branch banking and FX operations and technology.

LaMonica serves as councilwoman in Allendale, N.J., where she resides with her family. In addition, she is active in a number of not-for-profit boards as well as at her alma mater, Boston College.

Mike Lyublinsky and Bob McKillip
Co-Heads of GBM Americas

Michael Lyublinsky is the Co-Head of GBM Americas. He is also Head of Fixed Income Trading for the Americas, where he is responsible for overseeing trading activities within Rates, Credit, Mortgage, FX and Local Markets. In 2004 Michael joined RBS Greenwich Capital as Head of Interest Rate Derivative Trading. In 2007, he became the Head of Global Dollar Rates Trading. Prior to the completion of his M.B.A., Michael worked for two years as a computer programmer specializing in image processing. In 1995 he joined Credit Suisse Financial Products as an associate, trading various interest-rate derivative products. During his nine-year tenure at Credit Suisse Financial Products Michael progressed to Managing Director and Head of Interest-Rate Option Trading. Michael has a B.S. in applied math from the University of Moldova and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Bob McKillip is Co-Head of GBM Americas and the Head of North America Corporate Coverage and Advisory. He also serves on the board of directors of RBS Greenwich Capital. Prior to joining RBS, Bob spent 23 years in the banking industry at Bank of America, Barclays Capital and Bank One. His background includes broad experience in a range of industries and products including Loan Syndications, Debt Capital Markets, Asset-Backed Securities, Derivatives, FX, Commodities, High Yield, Private Placements and Project Finance. Bob has a B.A. in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Robert Matthews
Vice Chairman, Commercial Banking, Citizens Financial Group, Inc.

Robert Matthews is Vice Chairman of RBS Citizens Financial Group, Inc., with responsibility for the firm's Commercial Banking business lines. These include relationship coverage groups focused on small business, middle market and mid-cap commercial and industrial customers as well as not-for-profits and government entities. Additionally, he has responsibility for the various specialized industry groups and product areas including Commercial Real Estate, Franchise Finance, Capital Markets and Debt Syndication, Interest Rate Derivatives and Foreign Exchange, Treasury Solutions and Citizens Bank’s equipment finance and leasing business.

He also oversees the State Presidents who represent the overall RBS Citizens Financial Group, Inc. franchise in its 12 states under the RBS Citizens, Citizens Bank and Charter One brands and has responsibility for the firm’s CRA activities.

Matthews is a member of CFG’s Executive Committee, the company’s most- senior leadership team, a member of the CFG’s Board of Directors and serves as Vice Chairman of the Citizens Charitable Foundation Board.

Prior to assuming his current position, Matthews was responsible for Commercial Enterprise Banking, Middle Market and Mid-Corporate coverage groups. He joined RBS Americas’ leadership team in September 2007 from Citigroup where he had been Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Commercial and Middle Market Banking. In addition, he has worked internationally for 17 years, holding a number of senior leadership positions in Asia and Latin America.

He received a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard College with an emphasis on labor relations and bargaining behavior and serves on various charitable and not-for-profit boards including as an Overseer of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Matthews resides in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife, Catherine. They have two grown daughters.

Ken Phelan
Chief Risk Officer, RBS Americas

Ken Phelan is Chief Risk Officer of RBS Americas. Prior to joining RBS, Ken spent two years as the EVP and Chief Risk Officer of Fannie Mae, post conservatorship. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Ken served as the Chief Risk Officer of Wachovia Corporation with executive leadership responsibility for Wachovia's global credit risk management, market risk management and operational risk management. Ken has a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law, a Masters of Science in Economics from Trinity College in Dublin, and a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University.

Prabhat Vira
Head of Global Transaction Services Americas

Prabhat Vira is Head of Global Transaction Services (GTS) Americas. He is responsible for delivering the full range of global and domestic transaction services capabilities (treasury management, payments, trade finance, merchant services and commercial cards) to clients across all segments of the commercial marketplace in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Vira also is a member of the GTS Executive Committee at RBS. Before becoming head of GTS Americas in August 2009, Vira was Head of GTS Solutions International, responsible for delivering cash solutions to GTS Americas' Global Banking and Markets (GBM) / Large Corporate client segment across North America and Latin America, as well as managing Trade Finance sales and product efforts. Vira has an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from BITS, India.
