Newark, DE (October 27, 2005) - Citizens Bank in Delaware announced today that it opened a new bank branch at 301 Louviers Way in the Shoppes of Louviers in Newark on Wednesday, October 26, 2005. The new branch, which is across from the Deerfield Golf and Tennis Club, is the first of two stand-alone New In-Branch Citizens Experience (N.I.C.E.) branches to be built in Delaware in 2005. The opening of the new branch will create 10 new jobs in Newark.

The branch hours are 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. By opening the new branch, Citizens Bank is creating 10 new jobs. Karen Seelhorstis the Branch Manager and Sarah Kazmi is the Assistant Manager.
The Newark N.I.C.E. branch will feature a colorful, user-friendly design that is much different than the conventional look and feel of a traditional bank office.
The N.I.C.E. branch design was created in 2003 in response to customer feedback from the more than 20,000 customer service calls and monthly surveys that Citizens Bank makes each month. Citizens Bank customers will enjoy a bright, bold, clutter-free branch that facilitates easy, self-directed banking while maintaining a personal touch.
