Citizens Bank announces “Take it to the Bank” promotion for Phillies Fans
Bring any Phillies home game ticket stub into a Citizens Bank branch to receive prizesPHILADELPHIA (April 27, 2007) - As part of the excitement surrounding the 2007 Philadelphia Phillies season, Citizens Bank announced today that all fans who attend a home game between March 30 and August 31 will be eligible to receive a special gift. As part a new promotion entitled “Take it to the Bank”, customers who bring their Phillies ticket stubs to any Citizens Bank branch in eastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey and New Castle County will receive a special Citizens Bank Park travel mug and have the chance to win $10,000.
“The Greater Philadelphia region has many dedicated Phillies fans and Citizens Bank wants to show its appreciation with a Citizens Bank Park gift,” said Peg Marty, Executive Vice President of Citizens Bank. “’Take it to the Bank’ is a fun way of thanking Phillies fans while also inviting them to visit our branches and learn how rewarding it is to bank with Citizens. We hope lots of people take advantage of the promotion.”
In addition to receiving the Citizens Bank Park travel mug, each person who presents a ticket stub will be automatically entered to win the Grand Prize of two tickets to the Phillies game on September 30. At the game, the Grand Prize winner will have the opportunity to win $10,000 if he or she hits a baseball out of Citizens Bank Park. The Grand Prize winner may assign someone to hit for them if they are physically unable to play baseball, though professional, semi-professional or college players from the past five years are not eligible.
Official contest rules are available at participating branches for the alternate mail-in methods of entry for the grand prize.
