Citizens Bank SVP recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business

PITTSBURGH      (May 15, 2008) - Ann Morrison, Senior Vice President and Western Pennsylvania Team Leader for Citizens Bank’s Government Banking Group, will be honored at Pennsylvania’s 13th annual Best 50 Women in Business awards ceremony on May 19 at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg during an evening reception. As one of this year’s award recipients, Morrison will be recognized for her professional accomplishments and community involvement.

Morrison is responsible for marketing Citizens banking services and investment vehicles to government entities and authorities in Pennsylvania. Morrison is an active supporter of many community causes, including the United Way of Butler County, the Downtown Butler Revitalization Board, Mars Home for Youth and the Allegheny Land Trust.

“On behalf of Citizens Bank I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations to Ann on being selected as a recipient of this very prestigious award,” said Ralph Papa, Chairman and President of Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania. “Ann is an inspiration to her colleagues and to those that she serves throughout the community.”

Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business program, conceived in 1996 by the State Department of Community Development, recognizes women who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community. Each year an independent group of judges select the top 50 candidates based on submissions including biographical information, professional and personal accomplishments, community involvement and an individual’s advocacy for women in business.

“It is an honor and a privilege to join the distinguished list of women who have won this prestigious award in Pennsylvania,” said Morrison. “I care deeply about the community where I work and live, and believe that we all must do our part to shape the economic future of our state.”
