Applying for a Job
How do I know what positions are available?
From our Career Opportunities page click on Search/Apply for all other positions and then select View Job Postings / Apply for Job. You will be able to narrow your search by location or area of expertise (by using the Job Categories). Click on the Posting Title to view the full description and requirements of the position. If you don’t find a job that suits you right now, you may still enter your resume without applying to a position and a recruiter may contact you when an opening calls for your skills and background. Also please check back on our careers site—our database is updated every day.
How do I know what positions are in each Job Category?
Examples of the positions in the job categories are available by clicking on the arrow next to Job Category Descriptions to expand the section.
Why don’t I see any positions posted for Teller or InStore Banker?

If you are currently a Citizens colleague, you should access the online application via CFG Connections>HR Express>Employee Self Service.
Will the jobs I put in my job basket be stored for my next visit?

Can I attach my resume to the application?
Yes, attaching your resume will save you time by automatically sorting your information into the corresponding fields on your application (i.e., name, address, prior employment, and education). Our application accepts resumes in the following file formats: Word, text, PDF, RTF, and HTML.
What if my resume is not in an acceptable file format (Word, text, PDF, RTF, or HTML)?
You can copy and paste the information from your resume into the resume text box and the application will still be automatically completed.
Why is there a Magnifying Glass at the end of some fields?
The magnifying glass is a prompt button that will help you look up information to complete that field. It is not necessary to put in any search criteria, just click on the icon and you will be taken to a look up page. Once you are on the search page, if you still need additional information to help complete the field, click on the Advanced Lookup link.
What is the purpose of the Validate buttons next to each entry in my employment and education sections?
These fields may be completed automatically from attaching your resume. We want to ensure you have reviewed the information contained in these sections for accuracy and completeness.
I entered the name of my school on the College/University Education Details page and got an error message saying it is an “invalid value”.
The name you typed in is not a match to the school names in the database.
