Q: How much will I receive in Gas Rewards?
A: You will earn 10% cash back every time you purchase gasoline at any gas station nationwide for the first 90 days. After 90 days, you will receive 3% cash back on your gasoline purchases.
Q: Do I earn cash back for purchases other than gasoline?
A: Yes. You also receive 1% cash back on all other purchases you make with your credit card.
Q: How do I redeem my Accelerator reward points?
A: Every time you earn $50 in rewards, we will automatically send you a $50 check through the mail in your statement. For more information contact our call Customer Service Department toll-free at 1-800-684-2222.
Q: What does it cost to apply?
A: There are no application fees for applying.
Q: How long will it take to process my application?
A: In most cases, it takes two weeks. However, it may take up to 30 days to process your application.
Q: Is the information I submit on this application secure?
A: Yes. We use the highest form of Internet security technology. This ensures that the private and personal information you are submitting remains secure and confidential.
Q: Will I receive some sort of confirmation after I submit the online application?
A: Yes. After you submit your application, a confirmation page will appear on your screen. It may take a few moments, so please do not interrupt your browser during this process.

Q: Is there an annual fee for the card?
A: No. You won't be charged an annual fee for the Citizens Bank Accelerator Rewards Platinum MasterCard®.
Q: What Platinum benefits do I get?
A: The purchases you make with your card have Extended Warranty Coverage which doubles the protection on most manufacturers' warranties up to one year. Plus, you get travel accidental insurance protection, car rental insurance and an optional Year-End Account Summary.
Q: Can I manage my account online?
A: Yes. Simply enroll in Online Account Access. You can see recent and past statements, pay your credit card bill, check balances and more online. Enrollment is free and available 24/7.
Q: Where is my card accepted?
A: You can use your card at millions of MasterCard® locations worldwide – including online. No card is accepted in more places.
Q: How can I make balance transfers with my card?
A: It’s easy. Just use the Balance Transfer checks in your Welcome materials. You may also go online or contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-684-2222 for more information.
Q: Will any balance transfer(s) I make appear on my next statement?
A: Balance transfers can take up to four weeks to process. Continue to make at least the minimum monthly payments on the accounts you designate until the balance transfer payments you request appear as credits on those accounts.
