A. Your current points balance, as well as the points required to redeem in the Rewards Catalog, will be reduced by 50%. Plus, in the new program your new points earned will be worth twice as much, allowing you to earn rewards faster.

Q. How do I pay the annual fee?
A. The annual fee will be deducted from your checking account linked to your Citizens Bank Rewards debit card. The fee will appear in the 3rd checking statement cycle after you have confirmed or opted into the new Rewards program.

Q. What if I choose not to opt-in to the new Rewards program?
A. If you choose not to opt-in your Everyday Points will be forfeited and you will no longer be enrolled in Citizens Bank Rewards. You may earn and redeem points at their present value until the opt-in deadline.

Q. What is the Merchant Network?
A. Citizens Bank has teamed up with some of your favorite retailers and restaurants to create our “Merchant Network.” When you use your Rewards debit card at these retailers, you’ll earn up to 10 Everyday Points for every dollar you spend. Q. How do I earn points, and what is the fastest way to get them?
A. To earn points, use your Rewards debit card for all your non-PIN purchases. The most important thing to remember is to press “credit” or sign the receipt. You will not earn points on any transaction that requires your PIN number or for which you enter your PIN number. The fastest way to earn points is by shopping with our Merchant Network, because you’ll always earn more. You can also earn double points when you use PayPass™ and for making recurring payments with your Rewards debit card.

Q. Why do I need a new username and password?
A. We are providing a more secure customer environment by eliminating the use of social security number and debit card number as verification fields when you log into the rewards Website.

Q. What is a recurring payment and how do I set one up?
A. A recurring payment is one that you set up with a service provider in which regularly scheduled payments are made using your Rewards debit card number. Please note that payments made via online banking, or those debited directly form your checking account do not qualify.
