Helping Hands Glove Drive
Through the Citizens Bank Helping Hands Program, we’re working to collect new or gently used baseball
gloves that can be distributed to children who play in the Phillies Jr. RBI League throughout the Delaware Valley.
The Jr. RBI League helps more than 7,000 children enjoy the game of baseball. Since 2005, the Citizens Bank
Helping Hands glove program has collected more than 4,000 gloves for children 12 and under. In conjunction
with the Phillies, Citizens Bank employees also volunteer to help clean up local baseball fields and run an
annual carnival at the ballpark for the teams that are part of Phillies Jr. RBI League.
So how can you step up to the plate? Bring any new or gently used gloves to the Citizens Bank Kiosk in Ashburn
Alley. You’ll be helping a great cause and be put in the running to win a special Phillies autographed item.
Phans Feeding Families
In 2011, Citizens Bank and the Phillies teamed up to launch Phans Feeding Families, a program to support hunger
relief efforts in the Delaware Valley. In its first year, Phans Feeding Families provided nearly 200,000 meals
to families in need through the generosity of the entire Phillies community — the team, Citizens Bank and
other Phillies sponsors, and the best phans in baseball.
Check back soon to learn how you can support this year’s program and save the date for Phans Feeding Families Day on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
