Banking, buying real estate and cultivating economically prosperous communities have not always been easy for Black people in America. However, by supporting Black individuals on their journey to understanding their personal finances, new foundations can be built for this generation and future generations to gain financial independence and build wealth.

Due to the efforts of entrepreneurs and real estate investors like Bernard Garrett and scholars like George Washington Carver and Booker T. Washington, each generation gets stronger. Plus, many Black financial experts are using social media to help others gain knowledge about building wealth, eliminating debt and investing.

If you're looking to learn more about financial success stories, here are six Black experts to follow on social media.
