Garden City Center, Rhode Island’s premier destination for shopping, dining and entertainment, returns this holiday season with both beloved and exciting new festivities. From Nov. 21 - Jan. 4, Holiday Happenings presented by Citizens features the annual Light Up Garden City event, Santa’s Cabin and Letters to Santa. And NEW this year — delight in the Citizens Holiday Village, where the Citizens team will be on-site throughout the season.

Visit the Citizens Holiday Village, a nostalgic miniature town created by world-renowned, Guinness World Record-holding cardstacker Bryan Berg — and brought to life from Citizens credit cards. With twinkling lights and a miniature train that winds its way among the buildings, this 10-foot-tall sculpture invites guests of all ages into a magical world where tradition, creativity and perks stack up. Come see it at the Gazebo and guess how many cards it took to build for a chance to win a $1,000 Mastercard gift card.*

Light Up Garden City presented by Citizens
The holiday season officially kicks off with Light Up Garden City Center Presented by Citizens on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Gazebo. Enjoy an enchanting evening stroll past light displays, live entertainment and festive performances — all leading up to the illumination of Garden City Center’s iconic holiday tree and Santa’s grand entrance at 5 pm.
Adoption RI Giving Tree
Help us spread holiday cheer this season as we partner with Garden City Center and Adoption RI to collect gifts for children in need. Stop by the giving tree outside Mod Mama to donate an unwrapped gift — and receive a free holiday ornament. Can’t make it to the giving tree? Feel free to drop any of the following items at a Citizens stand-alone branch in Cranston by Dec. 12: sports balls, hooded sweatshirts, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, small kitchen appliances, bedding, batteries, arts and crafts.
