Going the distance at the Citizens Queens 10K
Collaborating with NYRR on the Citizens Queens 10K is about more than putting our name on the banners; it’s about getting involved in a community where we have 17 branch locations. In fact, several hundred of our colleagues, customers, and local partners will race for Team Citizens, while others will serve as volunteers during the event.
Prior to the 10K, participants can pick up their bibs at either the NYRR RUNCENTER or Citizens OR Woodside branch location. If you have questions about bib pickup, find all the details here.
Kicking off summer with the local community
Following the race, Citizens will host a family-friendly, community festival open to racers and their families, supporters and volunteers, as well as Queens residents. The celebration will feature live music, popular vendors from the Queens Night Market, kids’ games and activities, photo ops and giveaways, and the Flushing Meadows Kids Race.
Teaming up with the world’s premier running community
Citizens is excited about our ongoing collaboration as Official Bank with New York Road Runners (NYRR), a community organization dedicated to inspiring people through running. We are proud to kick-off the summer race season annually as title sponsor of the Citizens Queens 10K — and as a Foundation Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon in November. Citizens continues to support and celebrate athletes, fans, volunteers, and NYC residents at NYRR events across the five boroughs throughout the calendar year.
