Focused on delivering financial education, tools and partnerships that help people build financial confidence at every stage of life.

Helping people understand their finances is one of the most important things we do at Citizens. Through Citizens Money Essentials, our colleague‑led financial education program, skilled and passionate colleagues deliver company‑approved financial empowerment workshops to individuals and small businesses.
Workshops are offered in English and Spanish, helping expand access to financial education across the communities we serve. Our education efforts continue to evolve to better support people at key financial moments — including students and young people building financial confidence early.
Colleagues also support the communities where we live and work by serving as mentors, providing free volunteer income tax assistance, and engaging in nonprofit board service - bringing financial education and expertise directly into communities.

If you are interested in having a virtual or in-person Citizens Money Essentials session at your school, business, or community center, email us today to explore how we can help empower your community!
