Online Banking & Your HELOC

Access & Transfer Your HELOC Funds

• Easily access your funds using the “Transfers” feature.
• Select “Transfer Money” to transfer funds from your HELOC to any Citizens Checking or Deposit Account.
• Once transferred, your funds are immediately available.
• Utilizing your HELOC checks is another way to access your funds. The checks should arrive within 3 weeks of your closing.

Mobile Banking

• If you are enrolled in online banking, you can also conveniently use our mobile banking app* to manage your HELOC and transfer funds.

Make a Payment

• The “Make a Payment” view shows the due date, amount, past due amount (if applicable), and principal balance.
• Easily adjust the accounts you pay to and from, as well as the payment date.
  • The “Pay to Account” dropdown will default to your Home Equity Line of Credit.
  • The “Pay From Account” dropdown will allow you to select from available eligible accounts.
• Enjoy the flexibility of choosing from several payment options:
  1. Total Amount Due: Includes both your current amount due and any amount that may be past due.
  2. Other Payment Amount: Applies first to the total amount and any remainder to the principal.
  3. Principal Only Payment: Applies directly to your principal (vs. payments due) —allowing you to pay off your loan sooner.

AutoPay

• Our convenient AutoPay feature allows you to make monthly HELOC payments automatically from your checking or savings account.
• AutoPay ensures that you pay every bill on time — every billing period.
• From the “Make a Payments” section, select AutoPay to either Enroll or Edit an existing AutoPay set up.
• Easily select the payment account from the drop down of eligible accounts and the payment account type.
• In addition to the monthly billed amount, you can easily apply an additional payment amount to your principal each month.

Manage Your Payment Account

• Give your payment account a nickname to easily identify where funds are coming from.
• Want to add another payment account? Just click on “Add Payment Account.”
• No longer using an account? Simply select and delete any payment account.
• Please note: If you try to delete an account with pending scheduled payments, you’ll be notified beforehand.

View Schedule Payments

• See all of your scheduled payments in one convenient view.
• Review payment details, including the accounts you’re paying to and from, scheduled date, amount, and status.

View Your Account

• View your account details and access recent statements.
• The summary view shows your current available balance and three most recent transactions.
• Click “View More Transactions” to see additional transactions.
• Click on “Account Details” to view account information, including your account and routing numbers, current interest rate, and recent payment activity.
• Select “View Statements” to launch the Document Center, where you’ll find recent statements, check images, tax forms, and other account documents.

Set up eStatements

• Want to save paper and reduce clutter? Sign up for eStatements to access your statements online.
• Please note: You can view up to 18 months of statements and order older copies online in the “contact us” section of online banking.
