Loan scam

Scammers may offer loans or debt relief with terms that seem too good to be true. They often request personal information or upfront fees, using emails, calls, or texts to target students.

Scholarship and aid scam

Fraudsters may claim you've received a scholarship or financial award you didn't apply for. They then ask for bank details or fees to "process" funds, putting your personal information at risk.

Housing scam

Fake landlords may advertise low-cost housing and pressure you to send a deposit quickly. These listings often don't exist, targeting students who can't view the property before moving in.

Test prep scam

Scammers promote test prep services with promises of guaranteed results. After collecting payment, they may never deliver materials or services, leaving students without support.
